Site Update (Monday, 4:00 PM)

1. The new look skin should be a lot faster now and as fast as any of the other skins. If you still are having an issue with this please let me know. Only speed issues for now please. We are still working on parts of it.

2. The old skins are available although I will be condensing them. The last thing we want to do is annoy someone and if an older skin is what you would prefer we’ll do our best to accommodate. I can’t promise for how long. For right now I am not sure you have the ability to change your skin. BUT I can for you. If you have already had the old skin as your selection – you SHOULD be seeing your old skin now, If anyone wants a skin changed let me know until we get it where you can choose again.

3. All of the new matchup content has now been fixed. Check out all the sport specific pages for the featured matchup of the day

4. IF you are looking for an old setup and can’t find a certain page – let us know. Some of it is in the menu and some of it is not yet but could be made available.

I will make another update soon if necessary. Thanks for your patience and we hope to have solved some of the problems.

Hey Dr. Jack....from my end (I have cable internet running windows XP and IE) the old setup was lightning quick from page to page. This new forum yesterday was slower (about 3 seconds to load). The new forum today is still slower than the original one but faster than yesterday (about 2 seconds to load). I get the feel that it is loading more info.

more info and maybe slower server... i guess it's teh new server that might be slowing the whole 'loading process' down, as the transfered amount of data is still very small... and the pictures for example will be cached...

I have loaded the new skin ("Cappers Mall Look") and the site speed is just fine. Taking well under a second to load each page.

I'm not able to use the color or size when creating a post. Is this on my end or is this a problem that you are aware of?

What skin Ron? I am not aware of this problem but dealing with all kinds of things here so will look at that soon

What skin were you using previously?

Have you cleared your cache/cookies/temp internet files since we made this change (approx 4:00 today)

Can you change it on your own?

Do you want us to change it back to the old one for you? (which one)
