Sleeping Pills

Anybody take anything to help them sleep? I'm sleeping 4 or 5 hours a night, then waking up only to have my mind running a mile a minute....I typically don't take meds well, so I'm not looking for something that's gonna linger with me throughout the next day. Looking for over the counter remedies first. Thx

WK you don't need as much sleep at this point in life, it's normal.

When you're younger you need more cause of the growth n stuff, but the body needs less sleep headin into mid age...

Don't worry about it, enjoy all that extra free time.

Ask the pharmacist for over the counter drugs. You don't need the strongest because you already sleep 5 hours per night. Something's bothering you and fix THAT problem and you'll solve the sleep dilema in no time.

One of the problems some people have is always looking for a drug to solve a non-existent problem.

Things adjust automatically, no need to add more drugs.

I remember you saying you only sleep less than a handful of hours per night--I wish I could but I can't. I get grumpy doing it back-to-back, nevermind more. I abused this in my teens and find quality re-energizing my mind/body 1/3 of the night. But an hour or two less of sleep per night X 365 adds up do do other things for sure.

Yup yup... lotsa more free time...

Seriously though, here's the problem with taking this drug to get you to sleep and that drug to get you up and so on and so on...

you end up like Elvis and MJ.

I have periods of not sleeping well. Went to the dr and told me to stop drinking soda after noon lol. So I stopped drinking passed my dinner and has been better for me.

I have also heard to imagine you are staring at a pencil or a blank white piece of paper.
