Slump Busters

What do you all do to get out of a slump. Doesn't have to be gambling. Maybe sex or for me, I can buy a hit in softball. It's been 2 games.

Give me you best advice to break the slump.

There was an urban myth back in the 90′s about Mark Grace. The legend went that whenever Cubs First Baseman Mark Grace would go into a hitting slump he would find the ugliest baseball groupie and have sex with her. After the dirty deed, Mark would go back to playing great ball again.

Treat each act as an individual act. Whether you have 12 straight hits or can't remember when you last got a hit it doen't matter. The only thing that matters is the present time. When people are doing well they get away from what got them there and expect success. When they are doing poorly they press and tend to over think things and try too hard. Check your fundamentals; grip, stance, shoulder, just watching the ball. Have no memory, it works for me. 3 seasons played 3 time league batting champ. Or you can just bang a fat chick. GL

sounds like something Yogi Berra would say... but in softball this is absolutely what I (CAN) do... a little tougher in Baseball

look for / concentrate on the white spots inside the laces and crush it... I know it's elementary, but what I mean is overly concentrate on the ball like you're in a daze and everything else is blurry...

or just have two beers before the game... that is all

As someone that prepares with Nick before games, All the above is impossible. No way in hell he can see the ball, let alone concentrate on different parts of the ball.
