I am not familiar with the Droid apps. Do you know if they are same basically as iPhone apps?

Well then here are a few apps I have that I like

Sportacular
ScoreMobile
MLB At Bat
CBS (they have several including March Madness on demand)
AP Mobile
AccuWeather
ESPN Radio
NFP

There's a bunch more but those are some I like to use

tigerman welcome to dark side.

they are not the same apps.

However 80% of the iphone apps, are not really iPhone apps, but web based apps; which means that they are fairly easy to convert to droid or blackberry.

here are some of my favorites:

SPORTS:
Live Score
SportsTap
Soccer Live

MISC
Weather channel
Goggles
CNET Scan
Droid Light
Advanced Task Killer (VERY IMPORTANT)
Facebook
Shazam
Last.fm
Pandora
Discovery
Fake-a-call
Google Sky Map (very cool)
Kayak
Amazon
Trapster
TV.com
Yelp
MovieFinder
Bump

GAMES
im not huge on games, but got a couple to waste time.
ThrottleCopter
AirAttack
Jewels

all the apps above are free.

have fun!

ps. my favorite features are the navigation (it rocks when it zooms up on its own at intersections, and when it gives street view to recognize where you are). Also the search by voice, very cool if you have it linked via bluetooth with your car.

For cappersmall; just go to the site and at the bottom of the page on the left, there is a drop down. choose the iphone look.

I believe there was some research done and the advanced task killer uses more battery life than it saves.

Try Skies of Glory which is an WW2 airplane fighting game. Very cool...you can fight against other users and it keeps track of your kills and deaths.

For the golfers out there...I downloaded a free app called V1 golf. There is a free & paid version. Haven't had a chance to use but have played around with it. Gives u the ability to break down ur swing with planes, lines, and circles. Several pro comparisons. Side by side or overlay.
