watched most of it as i was flipping between MNF ... pretty good, couple good one liners, but nothing spectacular for a first show IMO

the opening was good i thought.

the guest sucked... seth rogen is kinda funny and all but he is not season premiere guest material. very underwhelming. Jack white was just ok, the jam was cool but overall it was a little bleh.

I think they over prepared for this show. Conan is much better when he gets to improvise and do things a little more out of the blue.

I never cared for Conan personally, I think he is over rated. He is not in the top tier as Leno or Letterman are. I think he is in the next level, and at times, don't find him all that funny.

i will agree with that. canada doesnt have much to offer in terms of channels. maybe muchmusic, but you have mtv. our sports channels suck IMO compared to ESPN.
