A lot of locals had to of taken a beating this weekend. Both favorites cover, and I believe all teasers were winners no matter what way they went also.

I used to book, and I will never forget the Indy/Chicago Super Bowl. I took the biggest one day loss ever because the favorite covered, and all teasers were winners.

If locals cannot lay off their action if it gets too one sided, they deserve to take a beating. You would think that these locals would know how to lay off action, either with other locals, with Vegas connections, or with off shore connections. Every local I know has the ability to lay off his action in Vegas.

Have three locals at the golf course I play on they all got killed this weekend.. They all have ways of laying off but long timers as they are may lay some off but always keep some and when the favs cover and they stay within the teaser range for the dogs its trouble because all teasers cover and you dont call off all your action if your a real book..

Money management holds true for books and players. Squares took several beatings this year, so for those who didn't lay off action from the last 2 weeks or didn't manage the bankroll well enough to handle a rough spell, maybe they shouldn't be in the business. Making book is a tough business just like anything else. Hope everything works out for these guys......

Friend of mine takes bets from 12-15 friends of ours all year in Louisville. Most guys were down $400-$800 on the football season. All but 2 guys are down now. They all hit teasers... parlays and fav's this week. He is not happy.
