Lightbulb So now the lockout is over

What did it accomplish?

Who won?

Who lost?

What's important that came out of it?

More importantly who wins the 2012 Super Bowl?

Doesn't matter who won, we don't get a piece of it.

In the end, we (fans) win, cause they're playing again.

Super bowl winner: Oakland Raiders

Think it is a fair deal. Both sides won. Nobody loses when you are spliting 9 billion dollars. Biggest thing is it is a 10 year deal with no opt outs on either side. Houston Texans win the Super Bowl.

In my opinion both sides won and lost. They showed us how greedy they are for arguing over how to split 9 billion. What about the financial hit to Canton by canceling the HOF game? As a fan I'm glad there is a season, but I didn't renew my Chiefs season tix that I've had since 1993. The revenue from my tix amounts to beans for the team and league, but costs etc have gotten out of control and it's my way of showing my disapproval for the whole situation. My money is better spent elsewhere.....

No, the cap is set at whatever it is, and like in the past, teams are "supposed" to spend a min of 83% of that number, but some do not..Bengals were mentioned. But now that min will be enforced and in 2 years it goes to a min of 89% of the cap, meaning more $$$ across the board for players.

i understand the logistics behind the min cap and the hard cap and soft cap ... i just am shocked to hear that the number is 83% and then jumping to 89%
