Question So what is the biggest story of March Madness so far?

Is it that Kansas has been knocked out?

Is it that Cornell, St Mary, & Northern Iowa are in the Sweet 16?

What do you think is the biggest story?

I would say St. Mary's not only are they in the S16, they have looked impressive and have won by reasonable margins. Then again given their Aussie connection, I may be biased

There are 2 intriguing but probably somewhat long-shot possibilities that were created this weekend:

1) Kansas loses, opening the door for Michigan State to make their run...only to have Lucas go down early and create a big ? as to their chances

2) Purdue comes into the tourney limping without their leading scorer and they find their mojo and put it together for 2 games

If EITHER of these two teams can win their next game, imo they become very fun and interesting possibilities

Kalin Lucas' replacement, Korie Lucious (Michigan State)who beat the buzzer with a 3-pointer that lifted the fifth-seeded Spartans to an 85-83 win over fourth-seeded Maryland on Sunday. ( ouch!! )

but at the same time, he couldnt beat the maryland press and pretty much single handedly let maryland back in the game

not really his fault cause the turnovers werent officially his, but if lucas was in the game, nobody else would've been handling the ball to turn it over
