Bought an Onkyo system with the Bose Satellite speakers about 13 years ago and it still works great I must say. The speakers ran around 1200 I think and the component system ran around 1200 for receiver, cd, tape & eq. Stuff works great I guess as long as doesnt get abused.

That's awesome. I still use my Onkyo Integra TX85 that I bought in middle school (circa 1982).

Other than that, I've got a Behringer 6-channel mixer feeding a Behringer EQ each channel out to an Outlaw Audio 200W monoblock amp each feeding a JBL Northridge E90 tower speaker. The EQ is split between the monoblocks and the Onkyo which I use just for headphones (mainly for recording purposes). I play the guitar through a 20W Roland Cube which I sometimes feed into the mixer with a Shure mic and Casio keyboard. Wish I had more stuff
