Question So what is the USA's National sport currently?

Old adage was that it was baseball. But the way football gets so much attention, thats what I think it is at present.

By national sport I guess it could be definded as the biggest following and playing numbers, these two combined.

So which is it football, baseball or basketball?

Baseball is called the National Pastime, but that has no official standing. The most popular sport in the U.S. is American Football.
