Some advice

Hey everybody, this is my first post and I have a couple questions for ya. Im not an experienced better, but i used to be on the other side of it for a while, so im trying to put that knowledge to good use. This is the first weekend i have bet in a long long time. Can somebody please explain what betting in units mean?? Im unfamiliar with that. And Im going for The over in tonites game... my first weekend back was a succesful one.

posting in units just gives everyone here a comparable figure to determine how successful a series of plays have been.

For example, saying you're +$50 would be one thing if you're average bet unit is $1000, but would be a different story if your average betting unit is $5.

i wouldnt worry bout it just post your picks. there is no real protocol on this a unit is whatever you avg bet is but its not necessary. imo the ppl who do this are trying to gain more attention to themselves. there is no reason for it if you want to put an emphasis on your best play just say best bet or something.
