We are now in the year 2010

Are we saying two thousand ten? or

Are we saying twenty ten?


I think we need to pick one or the other, I'm in favor of two thousand ten myself, but I will go with what the majority says.

we say "back in '76" for 1976, or "in the '80's" for the 1980's...

This is '10, as in TEN, and as they will refer to it in the future...

no reason to use the 20 anymore, it's self evident, or the "oh"...
