Son of ex-Fox News host Eric Bolling dies in Colorado

BOULDER — The son of former Fox News host Eric Bolling has died, just hours after Fox announced that Bolling was leaving the network.

Bolling said in a tweet on Saturday that he and his wife, Adrienne, were devastated by the loss of their son, Eric Chase Bolling. A freshman at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Eric Chase Bolling died Friday night.

Eric Bolling said the cause of his son’s death is under investigation but that authorities told him there was “no sign of self harm at this point” and that an autopsy was planned next week.

Boulder police were investigating a death near the university, but Sgt. Nick Smetzer said the department would not release the circumstances of the death or identify the person who died.

The coroner’s office typically releases the names of people whose deaths are investigated after a few days.

“Adrienne and I are devastated by the loss of our beloved son Eric Chase last night,” Bolling tweeted. “Please respect our grieving period.”

“We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Eric Bolling’s son,” Fox News Channel said in a statement Saturday. “Eric Chase was a wonderful young man and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bolling family.”

On Friday, Fox News Channel said it had parted ways with Bolling, who had been suspended in August following allegations that he sent lewd photos to female co-workers.

Fox is also cancelling the program Bolling hosted, “The Specialists.” Meanwhile, Fox Business Network is reinstating Charles Payne, a host who had been suspended while the network had investigated charges of sexual misconduct.

Bolling had been working at Fox for 10 years and had been considered a rising star, one of its more vociferous supporters of President Donald Trump. He had the lead role on “The Specialists,” which aired at 5 p.m. ET.

IMO, I think he took his own life because he was embarrassed on what sealed his dad's fate at FOX. Who knows, may be people were giving him sh*t and making fun of him becuz his dad turned out to be a real gem. I'm not a psychiatrist, however, I do play one on television, perhaps his son thought F U pops, how do you like this for all the crap that I've been taken at school and simply thought suicide was is answer. Then again, you could be right, the drugs may have sealed his fate. In any case, a very sad story.

2:45 PM PT -- Eric tweeted about the tragedy, saying ... "Adrienne and I are devastated by the loss of our beloved son ... Details still unclear." He continued ... "Authorities have informed us there is no sign of self harm at this point. Autopsy will be next week. Please respect our grieving period."

12:40 PM PT -- Well placed FNC sources tell TMZ ... Eric Chase died from a drug overdose. We're told he was having a hard time dealing with the trouble his dad was having at the network. Our sources say he was extremely embarrassed by the stories and was "emotionally upset."

Man that is so rough if that's how it went down. Makes sense though that it definitely could be that.

Couldn't imagine my kid commiting suicide, just unbearable

I think this is a BS made up event. Last week I had a call from local lady who asked "What do you want." I told her several times "I did not call you." she replied "Well, how did your phone number show on my phone? All I did was use the recall number for your missed call."

I told her you can buy spoofing codes that allow your doctor to call you but the number shown is his office, not his cell."

OP, start a new thread with how to put porn on someone else's 'puter, or cell.

It could be a dozen things;

1 Eric puts his phone down while distracted, someone else uses it.
2 Someone used a spoofing service`
3 Insert your idea next .........
