Speculation That Pilot Deliberately Crashed Plane Into Austin Office Building

Austin, TX, United States (AHN) - Firefighters continue to battle a blaze at an office building ignited by a plane crash in northwest Austin. Two people have been transported to an area hospital and one person is unaccounted for.

Officials are now calling the incident a deliberate act.

The conditions of the hospitalized persons are not known but both have been admitted to hospitals for treatment.

Unconfirmed reports cited by CNN said the pilot was Joseph Andrew Stack is the name of the pilot.

CNN is also reporting that an unnamed federal official has said that the pilot of the plane allegedly set his house on fire, went to an airport, stole the plane and crashed it into the Echelon Building.

A house fire at Stack's house was called into officials shortly after 9 a.m. A woman and her daughter were rescued from the building, but Stack is reportedly not accounted for. He also is reportedly the registered owner of a small plane similar to the plane that was flown into the building.

The office building is along a major highway and next to FBI headquarters.
Pentagon officials reportedly scrambled fighter jets in response to the incident.
