Sports Bettors Looking for Solid Cappers

I am always getting emails from various sports services wanting me to use their service and offering all kinds of things. Since I had not contacted any of them I always wondered how they got my email address.

Last week I recieved a weeks free plays from a sports service. I had never contacted them before. Today their free service ended and I recived an email from them with the following comment

"Your email has been removed. Sorry if our emails bothered you--Someone
is selling your email address in an email list of "Sports Bettors
Looking for Solid Cappers"--thought you would want to know. You will
not receive anymore emails from us unless you subscribe to our
service from XXXXXX"

Has anyone every heard of this ""Sports Bettors Looking for Solid Cappers"
I tried doing various searchs on the internet and could not find anything

Just wondering if anyone else has run into this or knows anything about it

Phishing and Selling Internet Identities is becoming a similar big business as the one for real adresses.

Phishing is 'most effective' via trojans and other malware, crawling or internet platforms asking for your data. read some intersting stuff about that, esteminating that about 75-150M identities are 'phished' each day, the more complex the records on one identity are, the more it is worth, ranging from as little as 15c up to $100 if they (the Phishing site) got 'everything'... f.e. your bank data, your surfing behavior, your details at online shops and so on... that way they can stard bombarding you with ads and stuff that really are of your interst... for you it seems to be online sports wagering.

it's an interesting topic.

What is amazing to me was there was a computer software company that was brazen about their tracking software.....

"The commercial went something like a 20 something yr old male who used to go look online sports....and what not, suddenly went online and bought a baby rocker...and a tracking cookie was silently placed on his file".

This was about 7 or 8 years ago

Could not believe it
