Question Sports where you are most suseptable to Injury

See if we can come up with a top 5. Can be any recognised sport. Sports where you are most likely to suffer an Injury.
American football and rugby union would have to be in contention.
Then there are others such as skateboarding, BMX downhill racing.
What else can you think of?

Saw a study a couple years back while in college and I remember at that point in time both cheerleading and soccer were in the top 5, I was in shock to say the least and challenged the legitimacy of the study to the fullest extent before getting proven completely wrong.

Well MMA and Boxing should be on the list, any sport where the sole intent to to beat up the other guy is a good bet for someone getting hurt.

Absolutely correct. Only problem is, most people and even the NCAA don't recognize it as a sport.

Good list.

Rock climbing and sports/activities it is derived from, hiking and mountain climbing, are sources of serious injury and death frequently. Lost the use of my leg through climbing, and from my window I watch the LifeFlight choppers plucking people off the mountains every day. Life-changing leg, back, and head injuries are common. Someone dies where I live every week or two.
