sportsbook commision.
When do the sportsbooks take there commision? I,ve been placing wagers on pinnacle, and havent noticed any commision been taken.

what do u mean by commissions cody? the books take your money when u loose. depending on the line ( point spread vs money line) so usually if its a point spread bet they add %10 to your bet so 55 to win 50. that %10 is the beloved juice. hockey and baseball go by money lines. so tonite u have the caps at the pens pens are -140 which means u have to give up 140 to win a 100. the books hope to have even action on both sides of a game, puts them at no risk of losing and they just take the juice or the vig what ever u want to call it.

Since i,ve been placing wagers on sportsbooks, I have been having good success and have been on the winning side more then losing. I just assumed they took some kind of commision for taking the bets... I understand what you meen, thank you for explaining that, I still have alot too learn about these sportsbooks, its just a whole diffrent world from proline.
