Sportsbook Mistake - Opinions please

I placed a bet on my sportsbook that was obviously posted incorrectly. The odds were incorrect. It was a future so I will not know for a bit if I will win but my questions is. When I put it in the payout was $3300 when if the correct odds were listed the payout should have been $200. Does anyone know if it will stay a legit bet or do you think the sportsbook will cancel it?

I 've had many of times were the books screw up and come back and fix it. Usually its not a bad idea to give them a calland let them know. They will catch it and correct/cancel it.

If you think they are going to catch it and correct it, why bother calling them? Let them find their own mistakes and fix it; they might not and that will end up in your favor if you win.

most sportsbooks have a clause saying obvious erroneous bets will not be honoured. You can try reading through their rules since you didn't give the name of the sportsbook.

Wow a $3100 error in your favor? I have been betting for several years online now and I have never seen a single mistake made let alone one that major. I can't believe you have any hope of having it stand, but of course I agree that you should not notify them and see what happens. It couldn't hurt.

They will cancel it.
Sometimes if you call them and explain it they might give you a bonus for pointing out an error.
Otherwise they will void the play.

this about it, if you point it out and they give you a bonus it wont be more than what you wagered. You can win more by not telling them and maybe it wil slip through..

call them up and let them know before they catch it..they will cancel your wager but most likely put an extra $50.00 in your account for telling them about an error..thanks and good luck

its in the rules about incorrect lines..make yourself look good and the 50.00 will be in ur account before you get off the phone with them..Rip
