SportsIneraction has deactivated their online promotion methods

I have been an active affiliate of SportsInteraction for almost a year, and just received a notice from ComissionJunction that the advertiser (SI) has decided to suspend their entire network of promotion methods.

SortsInteraction has also changed their advertiser details to read:
Quote:
Promotion of internet casinos, poker and sports gaming is illegal within the United States, France, Germany, Sweden and other EU countries, and promotion of games of skill games is restricted within the United States, France, Germany, Sweden and other EU countries. Promotion of internet casinos, poker and sports gaming to United Kingdom citizens requires governmental licensing. WARNING: PROMOTION OF GAMING AND SKILL GAMING SITES IN UNAUTHORIZED JURISDICTIONS MAY SUBJECT YOU TO CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LIABILITY.
What does this mean? Who knows, maybe they are pulling out of the affiliate marketing scene to protect their current promoters from prosecution until they can make changes to the program to only allow promoters in safe jurisdictions.

The other possibility is of course that they may be preparing to pull out the sportsbook market for US Citizens entirely.

Just though I'd give you guys a heads up.
