can someone give me an idea of the winning percentage that a "sharp" ,"wise guy" hits and that of a square player

some sharps will say that a 60-70% is actually too high, and that it means your not playing enough games and allowing opportunitys to pass by, and that a 55-59% winning clip is where you need to be at the highest volume you can maintain it at,

i dont entirely agree because im not a volume bettor

sharps win more units than they lose, plain and simp. In vegas, its goes by amount: when a sharp plays a game for a certian amount (can be as low as a $1000 if its the right guy) he (they) can impact a line.

Also don't forget even the sharps can have a losing year, just like books on certain sports.

Common misconception is books and sharps win every season/year.
