State of the begging

Hate to say it but it sounds like Washington is begging for the American people to believe in our political system. They know that more and more people are seeing them for what they are, thieves. Not bashing Obama he is just the speaker. They know that we are the people and they are begging for us to buy into their tax and spend and then spend some more. Insider trading is ok for Congress but not anyone else. How do you think most Congressmen got rich. So sick of the same old BS. They are burying the American people in huge debt. Its horrible that they come on tonight and beg for our support. Not to mention that its TAX time. Taxes are horrible in Cali. Sure to get worse. Ok I'm done.

Cheer up Steel, those crazy Belgians get cornholed by their government at a marginal rate of 54%. On average, it's half that in the U.S.

Just meant to provide a bit of perspective on what other people pay in taxes around the world. You might feel you are overtaxed, and it could be true, but there are others who pay far more. Many countries have much higher tax rates than in North America, or in particular the United States.

they also live in a homogeneous society and rely on the US to counter military aggression against them

not apples to apples in the slightest

If had a dollar for everyone who claimed how well Finland is run

and think their model can apply in the US

Homogeneous? As in what? Racial?

And if so, what does that have to do with tax rates?

A nationalist socialist society will only work if its

1. a small nation

2. the same tribe

Belgians are from Belgium. Ask WP. That's where he buys his 25lb blocks of chocolate from.
Jean Claude Van Damme is from Belgium, it's a well documented fact that he kicks so much ass because he's pissed about taxes in his country.
That's a lot balzier than dumping tea in a harbour.
