I see 57% of American adults have not lived outside of the state they were born in. I guess that seems about right

For those in the 43% like myself, What states have you lived in besides the state you were born in?

I was born in Minnesota, but have also lived in New Albany, Indiana right outside of Louisville,Kentucky and also have lived in Wadsworth, Ohio near Canton, Akron, and Cleveland and back to Minnesota

i am shocked that it is only 57 percent who have not lived in more than one state..would have thought near 70 percent..i bet if it is broken down to region the south and midwest will have a pretty high percentage

I fully enjoy living in different places just for the experience of getting to know them. I will always continue to move around every few years. There's too much to see and do in the US.

Born in Oklahoma City, OK.

Lived in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, South Florida, Illinois, Ohio, Texas, Hawaii, Southern California, and currently Utah. Utah is by far the most beautiful state I've lived in, with the snowy peaks and canyons of the north and the red rock Colorado river area of the south. Love the style and charm of New Orleans, and the Miami Beach/Ft. Lauderdale area is my favorite place to drink and relax. The New Orleans-area of the Gulf Coast is my "home" as I've spent the most time there (around 15 years over the last 30 year period) and my parents still live there. I plan to try living in Denver, Seattle, Las Vegas, and Northern California next. Would also dig the Vancouver area.
