Summer Vacation

I've never taken a long holiday or go anywhere significant for that matter. All time will permit me is to take a day here and there--a weekend at the most.

-Last weekend we drove to Niagara Falls, ON. Left in the wee hours and arrived there 6 hours away. It was nice to see the Falls for my first time even if I lived in Toronto for 7.5 years in the 80's. I expected more tho...as most photographers make the Falls look better, bigger and more colourful on postcards. But it was a great day...glad to be home tho. (Trip was 4:00 am to 4:00 am--24 hours on the dot).

Next:

-A yearly trip to Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg, ON just outside of Cornwall. Always go there with someone different and spend the day in an int/ext Living History Museum. Oh, life was so simple back then, yet rugged.

-Fort Henry, Kingston, ON....a national historic site that reproduces 19th century military life. Haven't been there since a primary school excursion.

-1,000 Island Brockville/Guananoque, ON. A relaxing outdoors day on the St. Lawrence Seaway.

-The local Art Gallery and The Civilization Museum have both been relocated and improved about ten years ago. Haven't been to the new ones yet!

If I have time:

-Canada's Wonderland in Maple, ON, just North of Toronto. Canada's Disney Land version. Saw The Moody Blues there years ago.

Lol none for me this year we're having a baby next month so I guess that's our vacation. You should have looked me up when you were in NF I would have shot across the border and had a beer or two with you

I am actually taking a road trip to Nashville for a week. And then I am making my annual trip to Boston for a long weekend to catch the Sox for a game.

That is about all I am doing this summer.

im in Boston next week and Vegas in October for bachelor party but nothing until 2010 when i am going to New Orleans (ncaa tourney), St Marteen ( work trip) and Mexico for a wedding
