NFC, Eagles or Packers to make it
AFC, Patriots or Jets to make it

Liking the Eagles as a non homer because of all the weapons they added and with what they did on defense. As long as they can stay healthy I think they can make a run at it.

Packers are still the favorites as defending SB champs, and with Ryan Grant and Finely coming back they have another great shot at going all the way.

Patriots are the Patriots. Added some weapons with Ocho and Haynesworth depending on how well they play for the team. Always a contender with Brady

Jets just adding Plax and with that defense they always stand a chance

Like to see Patriots and Eagles.

MVP would be Aaron Rodgers assuming this is for regular season. Just see him having another great season

Super Bowl Prediction

Atlanta Falcons vs Indianapolis Colts

I think the Falcons have a very underrated offense. If they can stay as efficient as they were last year (especially on 3rd down) and keep the penalties down again, they have playmakers all over the offensive side of the ball (Gonzalez, Roddy White, Julio Jones is now their deep/speed threat and a great special teams guy as well). Also 4th year that Mike Smith and Matt Ryan will be together, always helps when QB and coach are around for a few years together. Their defense as always is the question but they have a young core group of guys on the D-line and LBs. Secondary is their biggest issue but if they can keep the offense on the field by managing the clock I think they can beat anyone.

I am picking the Colts because they had a good team last year and they were decimated with injuries on offense. Again their defense is questionable. But it always seems to be that way and they continue to succeed. Peyton Manning will get it done when it matters. They have a great chance to get a first round bye and homefield because of their weak division.

MVP I will take Peyton Manning, edging out Tom Brady, Sam Bradford (yes he will have that good of a year) and Aaron Rodgers

Falcons and Pats for the SB. Pats will get the points and with some be players on d should actually be able to make some plays to help out the offense. Going with Falcons as got some experience and some help on offense that will help spread the field.

As for MVP I am going with Schaub. Been putting up the numbers for two years just never made the playoffs. Texans squeak in this year and he will have huge passing games.

Pats win the Superbowl and Brady wins the MVP.

The additions of Ochocinco and Haynesworth seem like risks, but Ochocinco gives Brady a primary target with Welker still in the slot. The Pats already had a great offense, but adding Chad makes them even better. Chad playing with a great QB could be lethal. On the defensive side of the ball if Haynesworth is 75% of what he was in Tenny, then the Pats picked up a great player for a 5th round pick. Albert has the ability to be disruptive in the middle of the line. If he can disrupt the run and pass, the Pats D just got better. "Hoody" is a sick genius at times and a disruptive Albert has him licking his chops.

Agree that Albert can be a great addition to the Patriots assuming he shows up to play this year, which I dont really see a problem with Hoody as the coach. First sign of him shutting down he is going to be riding the bench. But like you said, if he shows even 75% of what he did for the Titans he will definitely improve the defense

Once again I am going with the Baltimore Ravens

I thought this last year too, as they picked up some weapons at WR that I thought would put them over the top.
Now , a year later, I think they will be just that much more familiar with each other. They have it all on offense now imho and their defense should always keep them in the game.

this is their year-- they beat the packers with flacco obviously the choice for mvp

Dallas??? Really people??

They are still in salary cap hell and were awful last year. the Eagles loaded up and will easily beat them in the division. Their only chance would be a wild card but that is not happening over tampa, NYG, Atlanta, chicago, minnesota

How are they super bowl contenders?
