saw it weds, absolutely loved it. I had some minor problems with a few plot issues but that's reaching for complaints.

the first action sequence is amazing and the cg work is very good. routh shows a lot of promise as superman and was a great choice.

The big complaint I've heard from people is the length as it runs 2 1/2 hours, so don't go to a 10pm showing if you're feeling tired or worn out.

When they brought back the franchise, they intended on doing 2-3 movies. There are a few indications for a sequel, hopefully involving some villains other than lex.

THIS MOVIE WAS HORRENDOUS. I fart in Bryan Singer's general direction for abandoning the X-Men franchise in order to direct this steaming, heaping pile of crap.

Yeah, it's really not that great of a movie IMO - probably a 5/10 at the best. It doesn't come close to touching the best superhero movies of all-time (X-Men 2, Spiderman 2, and Batman Begins). But hey, if you're a comic book fan - I'd at least check it out. It's not Hulk, Catwoman, Daredevil bad....but it's not that great either.
