How was your trip to Ottawa and Montreal?

Did u go visit the old Byward Market? That's the same place US Pres Obama visited earlier this week and bought a couple maple leaf sugar coated cookies to bring back home for his daughters.

Obama looked happy with his visit here. He was quoted saying "Canada is awesome! I will come back."

A good part of his meeting with the PM was held private and the details of discussion will not be disclosed.

I'm sure he didn't bar hop and spend an evening/night in one of the casinos like u probably have.

What do u think of The Ottawa Senators Army at ScotiaBank Place? Good venue or not?

Hey man--thanks for asking and the info!! The trip was great for a condensed long weekend. Montreal was fantastic--havent been there (single) since I was 19, so it was a blast. The Sabres beat the Habs (game in Buffalo) and it was fun watching it with true hockey fans. They have no clue down here in ATL about hockey.

A very abbreviated stop at the Market--next time, need an extra day or two in Ottawa. I was impressed with the arena, and the fans as well. We had a blast, drank a ton, and again, good to watch hockey with people who respect the sport, instead of people who think NASCAR is a sport--like down here.

Very, very good venue--we ate at the Hockey All Stars restaurant in the third level of the arena--very fun place. I am hoping to take a month this summer and drive from Nova Scotia to Vancouver and stop everywhere in between.

So a recap: Tons of booze, great food, strip clubs, a little cannibus, great people and hockey galore!! That equaled a GREAT trip!!

Thanks again for asking and I will be seeking your input for the next trip!

I go to ATL once a year to visit my buddy. I'm shooting myself for not moving there when I had the chance.

I agree. I only hear good things about Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia.

But if he wants to step foot on all Provinces he may want to start off in Newfoundland.

By the way T, PEI is just north of Nova Scotia; a bit more North-East is NFLD.
