talking about units and all

I see lots of capppers posting their records and all. And I now most will have their units won, either +units or -units. Does everyone use a standard system of $100=1unit? That is what I get out of it atleast. I just didn't know if their is like a win/loss calculator or something that added it all up for you. My bets are small that I make less than $50, which is the only reason I ask.

I think a lot of people determine a unit by a % of their bankroll - maybe 5%

You can choose your unit to be whatever you like.
Lets say you are up 5 units at the end of the season.

If your basic unit is $13, that means you made $65.

If your basic unit is $100, that means you made $500.

If your basic unit is $150, that means you made $750.

Therefore, your choice of the basic unit is really whatever you want it to be.
