Tax structure, do we really need the IRS ?

Do we really need the IRS. Think about a SIMPLE tax structure where you pay on what you use. Everything is taxed and their is no more income tax. You would not need the IRS because its all collected up front. It would also put millions of Accountants out of work but then they can go find another job. The tax structure is a joke and every year we all get in line to pay. Whats your opinion. I hate this time of year, I think my tax guy looks at my savings account and thats my bill. What American dream, we are all paying for theirs.

I agree.I think there should be a fed sales tax just like state and city sales tax.It would make things way simpler. And I get a refund every year.
