So only PRAISE in this thread? He should also be remembered as a politician that should have left in SHAME and cashing Trust checks, leaving a woman to DROWN is disgraceful.

A man is judged on his body of work and not just on a few hours. What happened that day was tragic, horrific and inexcusable no doubt but you get judged in the end of your life on the whole body of your work/life. I am not going to sit here and say that all the good that he did in his life evens this event out but there was alot of good that has come to the USA and to this world(with his intervention in Northern Ireland as an example) because of his efforts and beliefs.

I don't think any of us will go through life leading an angels life and I would not want to judge anybody or be judged just on some of our down times when there is more to a human being than just those moments.

I personally don't agree with all of his political beliefs and I certainly don't forget or think highly of how he handled or what happened that tragic day but I am not going to judge him soley on that and anybody who does I feel bad for.

RIP
