Tennessee Football Coach Holds Seminar For.......

Hey Boys,

I was watching the Tony Barnhardt show on the college sports network this week & he told an interesting story. He said Derick Dooley, the head coach of Tennessee held a seminar in the spring & fall practice on how to shower!

Of all things one can teach young football players, he wants to show them how to shower properly. That blew me away & I was really puzzled by it, but whatever. Though, to try & not let the viewers think he is a moron, he said the John Wooden, the late UCLA basketball coach held a seminar on how to tie your basketball shoes properly.

Is this insane or what?

John Wooden taught his boys how to put on socks, said at the end of the game when their feet hurt, ours wont.

I read his book. Bill Walton said when he sat them down and first began the process he thought he had made a mistake choosing UCLA, he said a minute later there was so much passion involved in the explanation he knew that he hadnt

This is because of staph infections.
The whole team was getting them, so they truly NEEDED a teaching on the subject.
