teasers are a book's friend...in the long run you wont win betting them...

yes its pretty proven football teasers are bet by winners for sure. (although much more often by losers that don't understand odds or know what they are doing).

gotta be done right and proper, and in the right spots. there is value FOR SURE on some teasers.

You have to be very careful in picking your spots but yes, there is value to be found.

totally agree which is why many places in LV either do not want to take them or bumped the juice to -120 on 2 teamers.

Best way to use teasers is on NFL totals.
Have been winning with 10-point, 3-team teasers for years. Only drawback is the high juice.

actually this really shouldnt even be discussion when its fact that there can be value in them

it isnt a question really. the only thing that needs to be reitterated is the fact that you cant just tease anything and everything and expect to be successful. this is the reason why books keep teasers as options, for every few people (sharps if you will) that beat them through sharp teasers, there are hundreds of people that tease things with no value at high vig and gives books a big edge. teasing things like big dogs or nba totals or something, is just mathmatically foolish.

i agree with FTW... there is value if you know where to look; and yes there are a lot more than 100-1 people that tease -ev games. IMO, teasing hoops is -ev most of the time, unless its a 5-6pt fav; and even then, it could be -ev. totals in hoops is also a terrible proposition. i think teasing totals in football can be +ev, but not as often. the best sport is definitely football sides.

I think the best value in teasers is NFL sides. Most sharps are using them. The real value comes from beign able to cross the two biggest keys numbers in the NFL : 3 and 7. If you can tease a side and cross these two numbers ( 2.5 dog to plus 8, or fav of 8.5 down to 2.5, etc), you have increased you chances of winning tremendously. A large majority of NFL games end in either 3 or 7, so you can see the value if you can cross these two numbers.
