Is there a dentist in the house ?

sob man
I have had some teeth problems lately where anything cold , just friggin clobbers me.

So I go to the dentist, they xray, probe, etc and find nothing. Two days later the front part of my left upper back tooth falls flippin off.

Back to the dentist and she thinks a crown, then decides a root canal is needed and then a crown. So she recommends me to an endodontist.
I also mentioned that something in the bottom is really sensitive to cold drinks too ( can't have that now can we ). Again she finds nothing.

I hold off and have not even called the endo whatever, thinking maybe I will save some bucks and just have it pulled.

Well, today part of my right lower back tooth falls off. Damn, its a little jagged too.

And, no I have never done crack and generally have a good set of teeth that i have always taken care of.

Could be too much pop- too many energy drinks , too much crap- too much grinding of the teeth- I don't know.

Back to see someone Monday

Go to the dentist. I hate the dentist and I just went two weeks ago for the first time in 3 and a half years. Found out I had two cavities. I hate the dentist as well, not the guy but just the practice

Ron Mexico :
for work we had all kinds of blood tests etc
I am not even borderline for diabetes- but small signs- nothing in my health bad at all.

I am rather high paced at work etc- but who knows. Guess I go back and find out just what the hell is going on- Pretty sensitive especially on the bottom one

And I have always hit the dentist at least twice a year - I now just have two ' halves ' .

Seriously 2B, that sucks, cracked a tooth myself not too long ago. Eating those peanut butter and jelly nuts. Just popped Tylenol until the pain went away. No dental in the plan I have from the post office lol, just pay for cleanings out of pocket

1) lol @ night terrors!

2) I'm not that embarrassed to admit that I actually didn't go to the dentist for about 10 years once, from about ages 24 to 34. Finally went, had no cavities, and they told me the teeth looked great. Felt totally justified in not going.

3) 2b, it sounds like you should get a root canal then a crown. I recently had a tooth crack because of an old filling I got when I was about 11. I got a crown about 2 months ago, but wish I'd gone ahead and had the root canal. Nothing major, just minor discomfort from cold or very hot food or liquid. I'm hoping it fades away in time.
