Brooklyn Janitor Arrested, Accused of Sex Assault

NEW YORK -- A janitor at P.S. 91 in Brooklyn is under arrest Tuesday morning charged with sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl at the school.

New York City Police said Francis Evelyn, 58, is charged with rape, sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly attacking the girl between Feb. 1 and March 9.

The school is located at 532 Albany Street in the Wingate/Crown Heights section of Brooklyn.

Police believe the attacks lasted for at least a month. CBS News reported the child broke down and told her mother over the weekend, and that doctors confirmed her story.

The attacks took place in a basement bathroom, CBS News said.

CBS News reported the janitor did undergo a criminal background check, standard procedure for any school employee at the time of hire.

Yes I agree...if he even lives long enough. I read somewhere that the molesters don't make it too long in the big house.

apparently there is, in a warped and perverse sense, a system of "justice" in the big house. Just like that guy a few months ago, who had raped and killed a little girl, and the other inmates held him down and tattoed the girl's name onto his forehead for him to see every time he looks in the mirror for the rest of his life .

If any man did this to my little girl i would torture that muther fuker for 1 month, making sure he didnt die until the month was over... There is no penalty stiff enough for these sick bastards.

They need to just be executed. Whether you agree with the death penalty or not, it is proven again and again that child molesters cannot be reformed. Their is no other answer. The only other thing you can do is lock them up forever. Letting them out of prison is just guaranteeing someone else will be a victim down the road.

I have a 3 year old daughter and if anyone did this to her I would kill them and they would not find the body, guaranteed. In my eyes, it would not be murder. It would be self-defense because I am 100% sure the scumbag would do it to someone else down the road.
