Things you'd like to see changed in sports

Spent all weekend watching college basketball and while watching some of these games all I can kept thinking was I wish they would reduce the shot clock, think 35 seconds is too long and plain and simple I am sick of seeing teams swing the ball around 6 feet outside the 3 point line for 25 seconds before doing anything. Reduce the clock, prevents them from doing so, makes the games more exciting then they already are. Shit changing March madness field why not this.

Also:

NFL- (too many to list, but heres one that gets to me) Add Penalties for excessive celebrations based on stupidity in the NFL. i.e celebrating a big hit on a 25 yard gain on 3rd and 20 or celebrating a TD while down 4 scores. Instant 15 yard penalty and ejection for stupidity. (exaggeration obviously but I mean come on now, you got burnt who cares about the hit, or your down 28 give the ball back and move on)

NBA- I really dont want to give the refs more power to influence the game then they already have, especially with the new technical rules, but seriously, something needs to be done with the flopping, not sure what, but something anything its a disgrace to the game.

MLB- How about actually enforcing the strike zone by rule? EVERY umpire has their own strike zone, its absurd. Umps shouldnt be able to manipulate the strike zone which ever way they want.

Fines for officials in each sport.. Mainly for repeated bad calls (Hochuli!), but I also believe they should be enforcing similar conduct policies that are expected of coaches and players. For example, I have started to see more umpires yelling back in coaches faces over the years with no repercussions. Players are fined and reprimanded publically, officials should be held to the same standards and punished financially if they cant.

What would you like to see changed?

Completely agree with MLB umpires getting away with too much. It semms like they, more then any other officials in the major sports, get away with WAY too much. Some seem to have this God complex.

Eliminate replay.....They still don't get it right, so why bother at all. Just slows down the damn game....

Disagree with this when you pay as much as you have too to see these over paid athlete's play you should get as close to right as you can. What would be nice is to stop hearing these over paid athlete's complain about how underpaid they are

Everyone will have their own opinion. I'm a sport purist and the human error element is part of the game. I'm tired of waiting 3-5 minutes for them to still get a call wrong or deciding replay can't be used in a given situation. Either all-in or dump it period. Just my 2 cents.

Put the NBA on pay per view.....surely there are better programs or sporting events to put on TNT, ESPN, and ABC...the NBA is a joke. It's the most scripted, pre-rehearsed league of them all. If you've read "Personal Foul", you will understand.
