Thinking of doing this....

Here's my situation. I don't have much of a social life and I like it that way. I'm a quiet guy and I like things nice and mellow, without drama. After I pay rent, utilities, and food, I have $640 a month to play with. What I've been doing for the past few years has been going out to pubs almost every night and basically wasting my money. I usually leave pissed off or even if I do have a good time, it's not memorable.

What I am thinking of doing is investing this money into gambling. I play Ontario Pro-Line (board right here

I worked it out to having about $20 a day to bet. I won't bet everyday, but that's what I have for everyday.

Do you think this is better than going out drinking? Most would say that drinking is socializing but I really don't like the people there all that much. It's sometimes fun to watch the games with people and occasionaly I'll make my out to do this.

I figure at least with the gambling, there is a possible profit on my money. Whereas booze is just pissed down the urinal and all I get in return in a headache for the next day.

Me and my bro are getting a Blue Jays Flex Pack next year. It's like 18 games. I live like 2 hours from any pro sports team.

I do get out. I might have sounded like I don't really. I don't have many friends but that doesn't bother me because I hang out with my brother a lot and when I was with my ex (for a few years) I spent a lot of time with her.

The only sport I follow with a passion is baseball and somewhat basketball. The rest I only follow if I have money on them. I just find them pretty boring unless I have some money riding.

There isn't much to do in my town. There is a casino close but I don't want to get in the habit of going there because ... a) I don't like card games or slots... and b) I've seen that place ruin lives pretty bad

At least with sports the money is riding for a few hours, unlike a slot or blackjack hand where it's riding for about a minute or less.

I also have a nice cable package that I spend a lot of time watching. I have The Movie Network and a Sports Package.

You basically have 3 options:
1) drink it away
2) bet it away
3) bank it away

Do whatever you feel comfortable doing.
Why not do all 3???
Bet a few bucks on a ticket.
Go to the bar and watch the games.
Bank whatever is leftover.

Sorry when selling coke buyers will always have a sample. I don't think u would make it out in a good state when they find u to be shafting them.
