For those with console systems

I'm debating on whether to get wifi for my PS3. It's on a different floor than my computer so I can't run a cord to use broadband on it.

I'm purely a sports gamer. I pretty much only play these games:

NHL 09
MLB 08 The Show
NCAA 09 (getting it soon)
Madden 09 (getting it soon)
Fight Night Round 3 (getting it soon)

So pretty much all EA titles.

Would online play be worth it? Most people I know that have it play those shooting games but I don't like that kind of game.

Yeah, it's not like Xbox Live that makes you pay every year. I just need to pay for a router.

I love playing online. I am like you playing sports games only. I say it is worth it.

Dreamcast never got the credit it deserved, it still holds up today . Virtua Tennis is one of the best games ever.
