9/11/01 - was playing golf at Las Colinas Country Club... even saw the 2nd plane crash live in teh clubhouse before I teed off... didn't really believe it was happening... still makes me feel kind of shitty...

11/18/99 - Aggie Bonfire fell... was simply working my first job out of college 1 year removed.... called to make sure all my friends were safe (those that I knew worked on it).... sad day for me, very sad. Like most Aggies - I loved Bonfire.

World headlines:

Shuttle Explosion: was delivering office supplies and stopped at a customer to make a delivery. He said the shuttle is about to take off, pull up a chair.

Reginald Denny being beat in the LA Riots in '92: The first time I saw that, I was attempting to eat dinner.

The verdict of the OJ Simpson trial: I was at the gym working on rehabing my knee after surgery. About 90% of the gym stopped what they were doing to hear the verdict

Sorry to hijack this thread but is that were the Byron Nelson is played? I was at a cool bar near that course where some Cowboys hang out. It has a cigar room in it. Cool River or Cool Water...something like that.

I was staying at a nearby hotel and couldn't check in 'til 3. They told me to go there (asked for a drink/place to eat). Bartender was cool, said to come back tomorrow for ladies night. Went back the next afternoon/evening and he told me I just missed Romo and Jessica Simpson yesterday. (I'm a Cowboys fan)
