great show, although at 82 years old, it is clear that he is WAAAAAY past his prime. He sits in a chair, does alot of talking/story-telling, and then throws out a few licks and verses here and there. Sorta like the way an over-the-hill Muhammad Ali used to throw a few combinations at the end of a round to try and steal the round on the judge's scorecards.

But who cares. He is a legend and it was great to see him again.

He walks out on his own, but with someone holding his arm and guiding him. He has cataracts, so he can barely see, but occasionally the eyes open up. He was extremely gracious, repeatedly thanking the audience for coming to see him. Didn't do many of the songs I would've liked to hear (Paying the Cost to be the Boss, How Blue Can You Get, etc...) but he did do, amongst others, Let the Good Times Roll, Nobody Loves me But My Mother, and of course, The Thrill is Gone.
