I'm not sure why I'm posting this. I just want to say that I have enjoyed this forum and there are a lot of good cappers and hopefully some good gamblers on here. I seldom post, so I'm not too familiar to any of you, but I have actually been following this forum for at least a couple years now. Although I have'nt posted too often, this will most certainly be my last. This has been coming for awhile, but I have finally come to grips with myself that I am a compulsive gambler and cannot control it in any way. Its not the sports betting that has really killed me, thanks to many of you I have held my ground on sports. By the way, this is not a knee-jerk reaction due to any losses today. I have'nt made a bet since Tuesday night. I made a last ditch effort to keep from totally sinking and I went 2-2 in straight baseball bets and I hit 7 of 8 in a 8 team parlay and 5 of 6 in a 6 team parlay. I did'nt sleep at all that night and was sick at my stomach all day Wednesday. That really was my sign that I must get my life in order before its too late. I may lose my family when I confront my wife and get it all out on the table. This will not be our first time to deal with this issue. But, I must move on and I think GA is the first step. Anyway, again I don't know why I'm posting this. I wish all here the best and hope you can keep it under control. I certainly can't. I've tried for over 20 years. if anyone would ever like to talk about this I hope I can be of help to others once I find my own road to recovery.

Sorry for the length of this post and I wish everyone the very best.
Good Luck to all.

BOL Stan,

The first step in combatting any problem is admitting it is a problem

Hope the counseling is successful and you are able to hang onto the things that are really important in life

Hope it works out for you.
