Question Ties

I know this has been debated over and over again but we've played twice and we've tied twice. People seem to be fairly happy about how we are doing.

At what point do you have to WIN to move on?

Are ties only in the early rounds?

i think soccer is such an afterthought in this country we are happy with any positive results really.

but being ranked 14th in the world you would think we beat Algeria and move on when England beats Slovenia or Ties them!

but any sport that ends in a tie or is judged (no pts) is never going to get mainstream and always scrutinized

it's all on a point system jack. Just like in Hockey. 1 point for the draw, 3 for the win.

The American beer companies have to start doing fun commercials with soccer and suddenly americans will jump on board, in sports it's all about the drinking

No sport should ever end in a tie.

Someone needs to lose

You got that right. Bought the Atomic Wedgie collection when it came out. I watch Revenge of the Nerds at least once a week.
