Woods hit 17 fairways off the tee this week.

The fewest he's ever hit in a PGA TOUR event in which he completed all 4 rounds.

And still finished T23.

Not to mention round 1 he only had 30 ft of putts made. The 2nd worst in the field.

A very positive week for Tiger.

In 1992, at 16, Woods made his PGA Tour debut at Rivera CC in LA. He shot 72-75 to badly miss the cut.

This week, 26 years later, Tiger played same course/tournament and shot 72-76 to badly miss the cut.

More overreaction ...

LV SuperBook just took a huge wager on Tiger at 12/1 for the Masters ... now lone 3rd favorite at 10/1

He is ranked 388th in the world. I've never seen an athlete have an impact on the odds like this in my life.

According to LV SuperBook, pill head only behind Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas (both 8-1)

Jordan Spieth and Jon Rahm are next on the list at 12-1.

The bookies have to overact. As hes very popular with bettors.

Yes he’s a liability to the books and we will never see “true” odds with him

The odds for any other guy ranked 388th in the world would probably be anywhere between 200-1 and 300-1

3rd favorite for the Masters is beyond laughable after a few decent holes ... I hope people keep hammering him, that will bring some nice odds on others who have a realistic shot.

Bottom line as of right now ... 388. Take it up with the committee

388 or not ... he isn't back ... he will shit the bed ... get hurt again ... fall off the grid

That is his ranking based off last 2 rolling years. No big deal. He'll jump quick. I've read articles and seen interviews with golfers discussing the fusion surgery he had, all of them said the same thing. Haven't felt the way they do now in years. Wish they had the surgery sooner. Think you're letting your dislike of him get in the way. His game is there. I know a couple caddies over at Augusta and he's been in town several times. They said he's hitting the shots.

It has nothing to do with my dislike for him, just stating facts. Pretty weak competition he is up against with Speith / Rory and Stenson already cut.

Even if he won this weekend, and a couple other tournaments this year, he isn't "back". Golf desperately needs him to be to be relevant again and golf fans are going waay over the top because he has made some shots and hasn't choked / got hurt yet.

Time will tell ...

In no way am I taking a crack at Cali Roots with the "He's Back" ... its a crack at the fools who don't follow the sport and are instantly jumping on the bandwagon seeing Woods succeeded short term, making some shots ....... not pulled over all fuct up on meds / getting car smashed in by girlfriends / falling down on the course with injuries / etc.

With some 100-1, 50-1 and 25-1 I'm absolutely sure there are some books getting very nervous.
