DETROIT -- A federal prosecutor in Detroit says he expects guilty pleas from four former athletes charged in a point-fixing scheme at the University of Toledo.
Assistant U.S. Attorney David Morris made the disclosure Wednesday during a brief hearing in federal court. A 2009 indictment accuses two Detroit-area men of betting $407,000 on Toledo basketball games in 2005 and 2006. Six former Toledo athletes were charged with conspiracy. it seems like my home town university participated in point shaving/fixing in baskets and in foots. they are one of few schools who were "caught" lol
