TOM TOM vs Garmin
I have had both and currently have a TT after my Garmin got stolen from my car....
TT has better graphics but I think the Garmin is better at mapping Both that I have owned are the $99 version and I have gone to the website and got the downloads. What do you prefer? wde

not going to lie, I heard the military uses Garmin, so I bought Garmin...if that name brand is good enough for the military it's good enough for me...LOL!
ps. never had a problem with it yet, going on 3 years... |

i have a garmin but now with the smartphones you can get the nav on almost any decent phone...the gps-only devices are going to go away i think
i laugh thinking about the effect of these...i suppose a youngster today does not know how to read a map and doesn't much care. I envision a day soon where a kid leaves his house to hang with his friends and if his smartdevice fails he has no idea where he is or how to get home. |
