The Top 100 Guitar Solos Of All Time (from Guitar World)

this list is FAR better (and more accurate) than some earlier list that was posted a little while back.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

Agreed but there should be more Jimmy in the top 25. None of the tunes listed should be out of the top 25. Same goes for the Clapton tracks

London Tech Music School, which has turned out members of bands like Radiohead and The Cure.

Not one of the Top-10 belong even in the Top-100.

As for the rest, half of them don't even belong in the Top-500.

Luke, when you have time, give us some of the ones that you like. I love to hear good guitar work that I may have never heard before...

i think #1, 4 & 5 are no-brainers and i would've switched November Rain with Sweet Child O' Mine, but at least this list has Floyd, Steely Dan, Clapton and Stevie Ray who all clearly belong somewhere on that list!!

I was thinking that too. Not much of a Slash fan, but his solo in Sweet Child is damn near perfection.
