Top 25 Rankings and/or Seedings

The following is a tabulation of today's game results involving teams currently ranked in the top 25.
Red is used to indicate an outright loss by a top 25 team. Point spreads have not been considered.

Final (21) GEORGETOWN 76 Cincinnati 57
Final (12) PITTSBURGH 77 Marquette 71
Final (11) MICHIGAN STATE 69 Penn State 60
Final (5) FLORIDA 81 Vanderbilt 58
Final (3) MEMPHIS 94 U-C-F 61
Final (1) Connecticut 76 PROVIDENCE 62
Final (14) GEORGE WASHINGTON 81 Rhode Island 62
Final MICHIGAN 85 (23) Wisconsin 76
Final (17) U-C-L-A 63 OREGON STATE 54
Final (8) ILLINOIS 76 Purdue 58
Final (19) TENNESSEE 81 South Carolina 65
Final (6) Villanova 72 NOTRE DAME 70
Final (2) DUKE 82 Virginia 63
Final (7) GONZAGA 81 Portland 64
Final IOWA 67 (16) Ohio State 62
Final (24) OKLAHOMA 82 (4) Texas 72

So what does being ranked in the top 25 or top 25 seeds really mean????

Nothing.....it just means that on any given day, any team can beat any other team as games are contested on the field of play, not on paper.

All three ranked teams you show here that lost, lost on the road.

Home Court Advantage is bigger in College Hoops than any other sport, imo, and it's not even close.

Roman, imo, and my opinion isn't worth much in college hoops, not even elite teams win & cover on the road on a reg basis.

This is to WIN outright. Covering the point spread is not even considered.

Skipper an elite team is a team with a chance to win it all, only 2 or 3...a coach with deep tourney experience, and basically can outwit most. IMO Duke, and UCONN, possibly Villanova are all you have this year. Texas is not there yet, but they are closest to it. Their coach is not very good IMO, although they have the talent along with seniors with tourney experience. Memphis looks good as well, but alot of freshmen is their only knock

How do I know who you are talking to???

If you don't want anyone to answer, then address it directly to the person EXPLICITLY.

Try: Dear Upinya......blah blah blah

Who needs a mod when I am around???
I just have to respond and the thread is killed.
