Toronto gets screwed AGAIN!!!

BETED offered 5-to-1 odds on Sundin choosing to remain with the Maple Leafs instead of allowing them to trade him before today’s NHL deadline.

The Toronto captain declared Sunday night that he’d rather continue on as a losing Leaf than become a competing contender.

Sundin is being heralded in some quarters for the way he rejected megabucks to stick around, but such a move is not unprecedented in Toronto.

Carlos Delgado went the same route a few years ago by forbidding the Blue Jays from trading him to a contender late in the MLB season. He joined the Florida Marlins the next season after they offered him more money than the Jays did.

I dont' blame him... If he wants to stay there and they want so badly to trade him, then I'm doing what's best for me/going where I want to go.

Its the players choice.

What about players that do not have that NO-TRADE clause???

If the team trades them, they are gone.....it was the team's choice.

In this case....it was the player's choice.

In Edmonton, they can't get the players to sign or if they are signed, they want out.

In Toronto, they don't want to leave.

I do like Sundin as a Fantasy player (or at least I have in the past)
