Thumbs up Touching Story on Sportscenter

An autistic kid was a senior and manager for the varsity basketball team. The coach decided to suit the kid up for senior night. He put him in the game with 4 minutes left. The kid airballs his first 3 pointer.

But after he proceeds to hit 6 three pointers in a row, and finishes with 20 points. During his 3-point barrage, his teammates on the bench were goin nuts, and after the game, the entire crowd stormed the court and picked the kid up.

I saw that last night. That kid was amazing, he was draining those threes. I loved the way they stormed the court after the game

The other team was definitely playing defense. The kid was awesome.

I want to know why he hadn't been playing the whole season?
