Hey mac... yeah my withdrawals ended around day 16 bro.. but the legs part ended a week before that.. as far as the flu symptoms i must of caught something last sunday at the inlaws house.. not only did i have to entertain acting like everything was all "hunky dory" ... but someone must of gave me something there.. ... like you said.. my immune system is ****ed.. lol

i walked the dog today and going to a meeting in the morning.

Threads like this read better than most shit you'll see on what passes for television these days...Unscripted reality with pain, sickness and hopefully a happy ending. Steve Earle said it best with his fight with heroin...."I crossed that line already, I can't cross it again." Very true Steve, very true. I've never met this gentleman (Trossi/Dan) but I'm pretty sure there's a little of all of us in what he's going through. If not feel fortunate. I love everything, but I never manage to push it far enough away that I'll never do it again. It's a very fine line sometimes. Most times.

Good luck sir, you're on the upside of down. Commendable to take that step, more so to do it for all to follow along with. Progress sure beats the f*ck out of denial.

Well we got the bad news on the mother-in-law situation.. ( pretty much expected ) She was diognosed uterine cancer 2 years ago.. the chemo/radiation she did back then messed her up pretty bad... anyways, around thanksgiving she had a tickle in her throat that was getting worse and worse.. they did exrays last week... it's in the lungs.. NOT ****ING GOOD !!

My wife just lost her father a year ago.. thank god i'm getting strong enough to be there for her on anything at all..

As far as me.. i'm doing good.. went to a meeting today and i'm on the up and up.. knowing what her mother is going through now makes me feel like i'm going through nothing at this point.

Sorry about the depressing shit in this thread guys but it is what it is... we'll get through it as we all know this is part of life.

i'll keep in touch.
