Troubled times for all of us, lets do this together!!

I have read some very sad post in this forum and like one other said when it rains it pours. Parlay passes, Gandolph now has his father with very little time left and he loses a good friend. Fighting amongest a certain moderator, lets bring what is important back into the forum. People make mistakes but its no mistake that some of our fellow posters are struggling with some of lifes very tough lessons. I just got home from having a syst removed from my back and I will find out in a few days if it is cancer. I am very concerned as they said the syst was wider then normal but no one would answer me on whether it was cancer or not. I have been struggling with this for the last month and had to cut my trip short to come home to be close to my surgeon. This is my 8th time under the knife and to say I am scared is a under statement.
Reading these other sad threads has me questioning what is in this life for all of us. You never know when your last day will come and none of us are going to get out of here alive. I know I have stepped on a few peoples feet in here and I want any of you with bad feelings to know that I am sorry for getting out off line. I wish that all of the trouble in this forum could just go away but for some of us the battle of life must continue. I am beyond warn out and I ask that everyone please say a prayer for all of us that are hurting. I send my prayers to the Parlay mans family and to Gandolph and to each and everyone of you. I hated to come in and see that some are fighting with HoosierCat because he has always been first class to me. Fighting is not worth it and sticking together is a must. In these troubled times I ask for peace for everyone. I hae a 12 year old and he is my life. The struggles he has watched his dad go for is not fair. He is pitching in a game tomorrow and I can not be there. I have stepped down from coaching and that is what has driven me for the last 10 years. The thought of not being there with my son is makes me ill. He came home from practice and asked if I could go and telling him no was about as hard as all of this pain. Please pray for this whole forum and I ask that all the fighting and all the prayers are answered. I need peace in my life and this is a place I spend some of my time. The fighting is easy to fix but the problems some of us are facing are not. Lets put life into perspective and remember that together we can do anything. I am thankful for being home with my family but the days ahead will be troubling and hard to take. God bless you all... Steel

Great words Steel. Even tho I try to live good I find myself struggling in certain parts of my life. You're right, life goes by you before you even know it. Its so cliche but true.

Give em hell Steel. Forget all the pety stuff in here and take care of whats really important. Situations like yours, Gandy's and Jacks is real stuff. You sound like you are still positive and thats great. Good luck man, we'll be pulling for you. -Cat
