Turning 50

In a few weeks I will be 50. I am having a hard time with this birthday. I have never gave a second thought about age until this one. Coming to the realization that over half my life is over sucks. I plan on having 30+ more years so it is not a death thing. Or maybe it is I don't know. I don't look 50 and I have the normal aches and pains but with my line of work I have had those for years. I am not into the bucket list thing. I have done and seen alot with very few regrets. After awhile I am sure this will pass but for now I am not liking this.

Congrats on the milestone, Paul. 50 years is a long time and I will feel blessed to get there myself!

When I turned 50 in 2007 I had some weird feelings, but got over them quick. As I was getting older I`ve always remembered when I was young and to this day I act it and think it. Age is just a number my friend.

The older you get the less you want to get hammered on your Birthday. For me it`s getting hammered one day and it takes me a week to get over it. Of course I use a sledge hammer. lol

I did all my heavy partying before I was 21 so when 21 came around I had stopped drinking so it wasn't a big deal.

i know im young but at college bars- i feel old. IM over the drink til i raalph scene, much more fun to drink 6 beers and hang out with sorostitutes who just embarass themselves

Happy bday , ill be 50 in a year, and i was thinking about it allready . Yea it depessed me a little. I dont look like it either .Most cant belive that i have a son that graduated college allready. Say i must of been mating at age 5. But my body sure FEELS OLD.One of my buddies turn 50 lastyear , said it really got to him.Guess that part of becoming an old man. Plus you piss alot more, damn i allways got to go. OWELL GUESS we got to take better care of bodies and brains now. Life is really short. Damn

Sure do .When i was younger , i would drink everyday. Not to get drunk , just thats what we did, drink beer all the time . Now most days i dont even have one. Some days when i do , i cant drink mors than 3 or4, just dont taste like it used to. Last time i got hammered , I WAS SICK FOR TWO DAYS.. Allmost gets you to start thinknig about smoking again.But i would get too FAT.

i figured that when i turned 37 in february that i was halfway through life. who know paul, with modern medicine and technology you could still be a teenager right now

I was a heavy partier for years. I`d party down, get up the next morning and

shake it off in a couple of hours and be back at it again. Now when I drink to

much the only thing I hear when I try to shake it off is my bones rattling. lol I

still enjoy my wine, beer, scotch and Marlboro`s. I just don`t drink as much

as I use to. As far as smoking, well that`s another story. lol

I am like ace. If I drink anything after 9 I get up and piss 5 or 6 times a night. Have to take my glasses off to see up close also. Fuk bifocals isn't happening

Congrates on turning 50 Paul. Its just a number and its just another day. As long as you feel good and can do what you want enjoy them all. I turn 47 in July and I pray I get to see 50. Each year is a mile stone so enjoy the family around you. On your 50th Birthday go do something you would not normally do. Go jump out of a plane, go bungie jump, learn how to play a musical instrument, put on your wifes underwear then get drunk and wait for the family to come home. With all CappersMall is adding to this site when people turn 50 they should have a Mall party place. Congrates on turning the big 50, enjoy that day like no other. Do something off the wall even if it means going to jail for a night. Congrates
